Swallowed

If victim is conscious and alert, aloow them to rinse mouth then drink 2-4 cupfuls of water. DO NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical aid immediately.

Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids. Seek medical attention immediately.

Skin

Wash affected areas thoroughly with soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. If effects persist seek medical aid.

Inhaled

Seek medical attention immediately. Remove from exposure to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.

Fire / Explosion

Material is stable under normal conditions of temperature and pressure. Incompatible with strong reducing agents, strong bases, moist air or water. Hazardous decomposition products include hydrogen chloride, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, irritating and toxic fumes and gases. Hazardous polymerisation has not been reported. On contact with nitrogen compounds, nitrogen trichloride fumes can be formed, which are very explosive. Reacts violently with calcium hypochlorite.
